About
Fender Rhodes LA chief technician, Nir Benjaminy, is Rhodes
piano technician and Rhodes collector based in Los Angeles,
CA. Since 1994, Nir helped clients make educated decisions
in order to enjoy their Rhodes instruments. There are many
options to wisely restore a Rhodes under budget, and each
Rhodes model has different characteristics of sound and action.
Through our collection, we explain the available updates and
modifications for each model and each budget.
Replacement Parts
We take exceptional care in selecting the right replacements
parts to perfectly fit every model. A lot of Rhodes parts
suppliers claim to have replacement parts. The truth is that
every model is slightly different in its parts and in most
cases, one size does not fit all. Felts parts for example,
are custom cut to size in our workshop to fit the exacat year
and month of manufacturing. We also fabricate many rare and
obsolete parts ourselves.
Documentation
Following the Fender Rhodes Service Manual factory specs will
bring almost any Rhodes back piano back to showroom condition.
On top of the documented service procedures we offer a wide
array of updates and modifications for every model. These
upgrades create a Rhodes piano with sound, action, feel and
looks, like no other.
Our 10 steps Tuneup
Protocol is the list we created in order to help our clients
undersatnd the basic Tuneup procedure.
Relax and Enjoy
To help our clients relax and enjoy the restoration process
with us, we document the work-in- progress in photos,
and every step is pre-authorized by the client and backed
up by our warranty.
