Is there a remedy for stiff keys and slow action?

There are a few ways to improve a hard-to-push keyboard: action felts may need dry lubrication with teflon powder or premium silicon spray. Felts may also be worn-out and in need of replacement. Pianos made between 1970-1978 that may require a Key Pedestal Modification for optimum speed and reaction.
